The location of the hostel was perfect for exploring the city during Christmas. It was close to the main attractions and public transportation, making it easy to get around. The staff at the hostel were also very friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations on where to go and what to see. Additionally, the hostel offered free Wi-Fi, which was a great convenience for staying connected during our trip.

One of the negative aspects of the hostel was the cleanliness. The rooms and bathrooms were not well-maintained and could have been cleaner.

Despite my initial confusion with choosing a bed, the staff at the hostel quickly resolved the issue and allocated me a comfortable and clean bed. I appreciated the spaciousness of the rooms, as well as the convenience of having charging points and lights at each bed. The location of the hostel was also ideal, making it easy to explore the city. I had a pleasant stay at the Youth Hostel and would recommend it to others.

Rooms on the first floor facing the hill feel like in the underground. Wifi only in the lobby.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The location was perfect, being close to the river and within walking distance of the attractions we wanted to visit. The room was spacious and exactly as shown in the photos, with a good shower. The staff were really helpful and attentive, and they even provided us with a free travel pass to explore the city. The breakfast was amazing and included in the price. the hotel facilities were great and we enjoyed the cool architecture of the interior.

Wifi only in the lobby on the ground floor

I recently stayed at this lovely hotel for a short trip to explore the city. The hotel's beautiful architecture and proximity to the Rhine river were definite highlights. I appreciated the free public transport pass provided, making it easy to get around Basel. The free No.50 bus from the airport was also a great perk. The staff at the hostel were incredibly helpful and friendly, adding to the positive experience. The beds were extremely comfortable and came equipped with charging points and lights. The spacious rooms with big windows and lockers were a plus, and the separate sink area was perfect.

I highly recommend this hotel.
